Position Overview
The Child Supervision Support Staff provides temporary, limited supervision of clients’ children while
the parent is participating in treatment services at Fellowship Recovery. This role exists solely to ensure the
health and safety of children for short durations and is operated under the child care licensure exemption
in accordance with Minn. Stat. §245G.19, subd. 5 and Minn. Stat. §245A.03, subd. 2(a)(6).
This position does not provide child care services, education, or programming and does not replace
parental supervision. Supervision is limited to less than three (3) hours per day, and the parent must
remain in the same building or a contiguous building at all times.
Degree of Authority
The Child Supervision Support Staff has limited authority focused solely on maintaining the safety and
well-being of children during designated supervision periods. This role may independently monitor
children, respond to minor safety concerns, and initiate emergency procedures when necessary.
This position does not have authority to provide clinical services, implement behavioral interventions
beyond safety redirection, or make decisions related to treatment, discipline, or program policy. All
concerns, incidents, or deviations from expected conditions must be promptly escalated to supervisory
staff.

Compensation is hourly and based on experience.
Starting pay: $25 per hour, depending on qualifications.
