Internship Program Overview: (Spring Term Start April 2026)
Fellowship Recovery is seeking motivated individuals to join our internship program. We take pride in supporting and developing highly motivated individuals to learn the necessary skills and gain valuable experience in substance use and abuse disorders treatment center. Our internship program offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the outpatient treatment 2.1 level of care. We go to great lengths to provide an internship experience that is truly valuable and helps you build competence as a counselor. We have supervision staff who do not carry case loads and therefore have the time to offer real guidance and support. Our Treatment Director is also an addictions study professor who offers special insight into teaching in this field.

This internship provides a unique opportunity to develop essential skills in the SUD field while working alongside experienced professionals. We are a growing company and most of our interns receive well-compensated job offers at the completion of their internships!

This role is part-time and paid hourly at $15 for the first 440 hours, and $18 for the second part of the internship. This role will report to the Internship Program Supervisor.

Primary Duties:

  • Work onsite and attend group sessions and required training
  • Gain hands-on experience with all 12 of the core competencies
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations
  • Participate in individual and group counseling sessions
  • Support behavior management strategies

Qualifications and Required Skills:

  • Current enrollment in an ADC-T or LADC college program
  • Desire to work with families in a clinical setting
  • Good IT and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented approach
  • Strong time-management and organization

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30-40 hours per week

Schedule: Monday to Friday
